NOTE: Please don't listen to drivers if they tell you Babel is closed or fully booked or flooded or too far from town or whatever to convince you to stay elsewhere.... Babel Siem Reap is always open. The drivers don't know if it is full or not, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to Pub Street and the Old Market area (about 2 minutes in a tuk-tuk), but many drivers will, unfortunately, try to bring you to another place to get commission as Babel Siem Reap don't pay it.
Advise your arrival details (including the name of the bus company if you arrive Siem Reap buy bus) when placing a booking and you will be picked up from wherever you are dropped off.
Please also do a bit of research on your own if you are contemplating on doing the overland trip between Bangkok and Siem Reap to avoid any possible scams and unnecessary frustrations. Unfortunately, the Babel drivers are not allowed to pick you up from Poipet (by the bus company and Popet taxis), so, again, we recommend all customers planning to arrive this way to please copy the map and to insist to the driver to bring you here or they will try to tell you many fairy tales to drive you to another guesthouse where they get a high commission...
