Owned and managed by Mr Vuth and his extended family, it is a good place to get a feel for the real Cambodian village life with traditional Khmer hospitality. Rooms are tastefully decorated with traditional Khmer designs and well appointed with amenities for comfort and convenience.

Our family consisting of mother and three sons owns and runs Bou Savy Guesthouse. Our guesthouse was built in 2004 and we welcome all kinds of guests of which we aim to offer the best services and food we can.

Bou Savy Guesthouse encourages its guests to see more of Siem Reap than just the temples. A lot of information is available and guided tours to several charitable organizations can be arranged for guests that want to experience more. Alternative guided bicycle tours to the Angkor temple complex and the Siem Reap countryside are also available. Bou Savy Guesthouse is a Love Card Guesthouse and supports the White Bicycle project. Additionally, Bou Savy has implemented water saving measures to reduce the water consumption at the hotel.

It was obvious that they cared not only for their guests but also for the disadvantaged in the community assisting with many aid programmes and providing information on these.

The guesthouse supplied brochures and had signs encouraging you to support local orphanages and organizations that care for the local people and help to educate & train them.

The place was very good for orienting visitors to the Siem Reap area, especially Angkor.

They have information posted in the lobby that allows guests to see what some volunteer or donation options are. They appeared to employ only Cambodian staff and had bicycles available to rent. They were very helpful in finding me contact information for volunteer agencies in the area.
