"They served us delicious welcoming drinks. They were always helpful with their tips and very kind. Thank you Cambodia, the country of friendly people!!!!!"
Mrs. Bozena Komosinska - Poland on 03/03/2010
"I highly recommend this guest house. It's about a 20 minute walk to the markets, tuk tuks are always available and the service was excellent. The rooms were bright and clean. The free breakfast was more than enough food and the staff was very helpful. They assisted me in finding a tailor, as well as volunteer organizations in Siem Reap."
Ms. Theresa Uniac - Canada on 27/02/2010
"overall it's worth the price minor things to improve: lots of Mosquitos in room everyday and hot water can be cold sometime"
Mr. Xiaorui Xiong - China on 28/01/2010

Mr. Vince Lang - Hungary on 21/09/2009
"We will definitely go back to the same hotel next time we go to Siem Reap. This family-owned guesthouse makes everybody feel like their own family members. We were quite surprised to get free pick-up, free dinner, cable TV in the room for such little money we paid. The staff was all very helpful and the food was fantastic."
Ms. Fransiska Anggraini - Indonesia on 02/09/2009
"Everything is great, except that there are lots of mosquitoes in my room. Otherwise, this is a perfect place."
Mr. Man Sai Simon Tsui - Hong Kong on 17/08/2009
"Very nice staff, helpfull, good breakfast"
Ms. Carla Ramos - Portugal on 10/08/2009
"Bou Savy provided excellent service, was very clean and all the staff was extremely friendly. I loved the place. Only 1 problem I had was that on my first day, they didn't have a room available so they transferred me to another hotel nearby (Chenla), which was not as nice as Bou Savy"
Mr. Vishram Dalvi - United States on 18/07/2009
"Best Place we have stayed in our 4 weeks of travel. the welcome drinks, the included breakfast, and the friendly staff all help make our say in siem reap unforgettable."
Ms. Tory Hislop - Canada on 09/07/2009

Mr. Abdol Ali Khatibi - Iran on 19/05/2009
"We were very pleased to be met at the bus station by the owner and driven to the guest house. Since we did not know the exact time of our arrival, we were surprised that he was there waiting for us. On arrival at the guest house they gave us welcome drinks and explained some of the sights to see in the area. They were also able to arrange for a car and driver or tuk tuk serivce. The breakfasts were nice, fee for internet very reasonable. Staff were always on hand to answer questions or meet our needs. The location was also fine. It was down a little alley, but inside the compound was beautiful."
Mr. Robert Irish - United States on 08/04/2009
"The rooms were clean, the showwer had hot water and the beds were large and very comfortable. I totally rate it to anyone."
Ms. Elizabeth Holman - Australia on 19/03/2009
"The owners and all teh people that work in Bou Savy's guesthouse are very gentle and we were very happy to ebin this guesthouse with this wonderful garden."
Ms. Eleni Papaefthymioou on 04/03/2009
"cute little place off the main road so we didn't hear any of the traffic"
Mr. Shannon Kelley on 08/02/2009
"Prompt and good service. We had a tuk-tuk awaiting for our arrival despite a last minute booking of room and being informed of our arrival just the night before (i.e. at about 10 pm the previous night on our arrival on the next evening). Quite spacious room and good breakfast. Full list of amenities available such as soap, toothbrush and small toothpaste,2 small bottles of mineral water per day, etc. However, the snags are no shampoo provided, charges for internet service and the TV in our room was not in good working order despite request to check on inconsistency of sound system - sometimes on but mostly off. A bit off from the old market but nevertheless, still within walking distance if you don't take a tuk-tuk. "
Mrs. Alice Hwa - Malaysia on 30/10/2008
"Only one word to describe. "Excellent""
Mr. Chang Chee Meng - Malaysia on 28/10/2008
"We were very impressed with their quick service - especialy as we booked additional nights prior to our earlier reservation and requested for free pick-up only the night before we arrived. However, please remember to bring your own shampoo as it is not provided. Hopefully, they might do so in the near future. Otherwise, we had a good time at Bou Savy even though it is a bit far from the central market and old market. Nevertheless, it is still within walking distance -good practice for walking around Angkor Wat, etc."
Mrs. Alice Hwa - Malaysia on 22/10/2008
"Bou Savoy Guesthhouse is tidy, comfortable and safe. The staff makes you feel very welcome, as if you were a party of the family. I received wonderful assistance in getting transportation out to visit the temples -- my driver/guide, Rong, was wonderful.
Traveling alone isn't always easy for a female, but my trip to Siem Reap was one of the best experiences I've had in South East Asia and that was due in a very large part to the services at Bou Savoy. "
Mr. Kristin Wedam - United States on 20/08/2008
"Tuk Tuk drivers used by Bou Savy should be able to speak a little better English. Particularly when taking tourists to the Temples. Overall a great place to stay, quiet and within walking distance to town."
Mr. Phillip Mason on 09/08/2008
"For the price it was really good. We stayed in another hotel a couple of nights before that was well over twice the price but the same level. The room did have a few mosquitos hanging around so we rigged up our mosquito net (using a complex system of coat hangers) for this one - just to be on the safe side. Also the floor of the bathroom/shower had big sandy footprints in it when we arrived - i can only imagine that it was the footprints of the cleaner! Apart from that, the staff were friendly and the room reasonable.
Location wise, it was only just walking distance from the center - we walked in during the day and tuk tuk'd back at night."
Mr. Paul Clark - United Kingdom on 08/08/2008
"This is the second time I have stayed at Bou Savy Guesthouse, the first time was two years ago in 2006. The owner, Mr Bovuth, went to some length to make my stay pleasant and enjoyable. It is good value for the room rate I paid."
Mr. Kahaik Lim - Singapore on 15/07/2008
"We were traveling in Thailand, singapore and malaysia and also we planned to visit angkor Wat. I was looking at a cheap and clean accomodation for around 10$ per night. I happend to book in this hotel purely looking at the rate and did not expect any great service from there. To my surprise, we had a greatest stay of our trip in this hotel.
The rooms were very clean which made u feel just at home. Also we were trated as a part of the family with complete uncommercial approuch. We even handed over all our valuable and passports to the owners of this hotel so that we could travel hazzel free. Our belongings were kept with atmost care.
Even for a visit, they had arraned a tuk tuk at a very reasonalble rate campared to the market. They even have a travel desk wherein we could get our tickets booked to phonphen.
One thing which touched our heart is that, at the time of we checking out the lady owner came till the car to see us off and bowed her head too.. We were made to feel like a personal guest there.
I highly recomend that this is a great place to stay in siam Reap and would say that it is a home away from home. "
Mr. Arun Kumar Hunsur Nagaraja - India on 30/06/2008
"The staff members here are just wonderful, though a bit hard to find sometimes. The rooms are a great value, and the location is nice- in a green, peaceful area (though still only a 15 minute walk into the center of town)."
Ms. Alexandra Keenan - United States on 12/06/2008
"Good sized rooms, handy to everything by TukTuk. Very friendly and helpful hosts. We had a Triple room which was excellent. Very clean and very quiet. "
Mrs. Karen Boyte - New Zealand on 27/05/2008
"Amazing place to stay for a really low price! The whole guesthouse is surrounded by trees and is located in a very silent locality. The beds in the room are a real treat after a long tiring walk in the temples. Rooms are also provided with a nice file listing all places to visit in Cambodia. Motups are available from the guesthouse at a reasonable price of $ 12/day. All of this and you don't need to pay upfront! Just give your card details for confirmation and your room gets booked for free. "
Mr. Bharath Srivathsan - India on 23/04/2008
"The room cleaning could be better, but all the rest is fine. good value for the monney."
Ms. Franziska Reichenbach - Switzerland on 17/03/2008
"Bou Savy was a real pleasure to stay at! Greeted us with a cool drink & then just got better & better. Rooms were great. Everyone was incredibly friendly & helpful! Loved it & would recommend it to anyone! Was great to come back to this place each night!"
Mr. Glen Hudson - Australia on 07/03/2008
"The service is excellent here. They helped us get our Vietnam Visa and went out of there way to help with all tour arrangements and had a driver at the ready whenever we needed one. My only complaint was the food was terrible so we ate else where. Not a big deal as it was great to go into town and eat at the many excellent restaurants available."
Mrs. Jennifer Baker - Canada on 21/01/2008
"Lovely place to stay and made us hugely welcome. The setting is beautifully peaceful, with a little garden haven. Would certainly recommend"
Mrs. sarah o'brien - United Kingdom on 06/01/2008
