Casa Angkor Hotel

Located in Siem Reap's Old French Quarter, in walking distance to Siem Reap's Central and Old Market, Casa Angkor Hotel is a cozy, colonial-style building with 96 comfortable rooms, many with terraces and balconies, a gift shop, a restaurant and a small library which makes a quiet retreat for reading.

The gift shop sells many items including replicas of traditional Khmer cowbells, gongs, and paddy sickles that make great conversation pieces as they represent the very beginnings of Khmer heritage.

Casa Angkor Hotel's open-air restaurant has a garden setting and pleasant ambience and is renowned for its Thai and Khmer dishes including Bak Lahong, a spicy papaya salad that goes well with Muan Ang, Khmer-style grilled chicken. Staff can make tour arrangements and help recommend tour guides to escort guests through the Angkor temple ruins and explain the meaning of the many wall engravings.
