Address: 129, A\' Char Hem Chiev Road, 12206 , Siem Reap view mapOne of the first guesthouses in Siem Reap, the Garden House has 30 rooms in a 3-storey building in the heart of town, surrounded by Khmer and European restaurants and a 10 minute walk from Psar Chaa market.The guesthouse is a wooden building built in the traditional Khmer style and is ideal for guests who prefer both a quiet environment and a convenient location. A small shop sells drinks and a large, open balcony is a good place to read one of the books on offer. The owners are a retired doctor and his wife and they run the guesthouse with their sons, one of whom serves as a tour guide and driver and the other, while physically handicapped, can speak English, Thai and Japanese. Russian, Vietnamese and French are also spoken as well as a little Chinese.
The Garden House has a small shop selling drinks and a large open balcony with reading books.
