Community engagement
Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
Mr. Kunn and staff at Jasmine Family Hostel aim to encourage its guests to see more of Siem Reap than just the temples. You will find a range of information available and tours to several charitable organizations can be arranged for guests that want to experience more.
For travelers who end up with a too heavy a backpack, collection baskets are available and clothes, books and pencils are distributed to schools and villages in and around Siem Reap and guests are welcome to come along on these trips.
The latest initiative is a school and activity centre located in Mr. Kunn's home village in Kralanh District, which is located approximately 54 kilometers outside of Siem Reap.
