The hotel boasts a unique Baray-inspired pool finished with handmade tiles in multifarious hues of green. The restaurant offers French and Khmer cuisine which can be enjoyed in the restaurant or al fresco in a tropical setting.
There are two boutiques, a library and a variety of spaces available for meetings or small functions. The serene setting of the hotel makes it an ideal place to enjoy a traditional massage.
From the design phase, Pansea hotels aim to 'reflect and protect their environments' as well as 'propagate and preserve local traditions and indigenous style." This is true of La Residence d Angkor which was cited as the exemplary development in Seam Reap, to be used as a goal for environmental concern by future projects. The hotel surpassed all nationally and internationally recognised environmental regulations. Furniture was not imported but commissioned from an internationally sponsored organisation working to train and develop Cambodians, many disabled, in local arts and crafts. Waste water is treated to avoid pollution and may even be used for irrigation of the gardens.
