Make sure to set aside some time to learn the secrets of Khmer cooking at Le Tigre de Papier's cooking school. After picking your favourite dish from the menu, join one of the daily classes and you will be guided through the local markets and taught how to prepare tasteful dishes by one of the Khmer chefs.
Some of the specialities include Amok degustation, a medley of freshwater Mekong shrimp, Tonle Sap fish, coconut and locally produced vegetables.
Included in the price is also 'The Best of Friends The Restaurant' Cook Book. All proceeds of this book go to support Mith Samlanh projects or 'From Spiders to Water Lilies - Creative Cambodian Cooking with Friends' - fhe latest cookbook featuring Cambodian dishes from Romdeng. All proceeds from the sale of this book go towards Friends-International's projects for vulnerable and marginalised children and youth.
