It seems that maybe there is a communication problem with the hotel, perhaps, since they were unaware that you had advised us that they would pick us up at the airport."

This was my 4th time to Cambodia and I think my last. I can`t stand dirt. I travel 7-8 months a year and could be a great little income for any country. But the people are wondefull and smiling and there is hope for the futured. I will watch. One final little burb. You should see if you can solve the problem with the beggars. I decided to give away 20 dollar a day, but when you are approached by almost 100 beggars daily its a pain, and I know that travellers talk about it. I think it will hurt tourism more than you guess."

lots of power cuts in the resort, and building works going on at present.
my sister left her bank card in her room (we changed rooms) and the cleaner kept it in her room, and did not hand it back untill my sister asked to go and check the room, which had been 24 hours later!!! all in all it was ok for the value room 119 has a bad leak when it rains."

Otherwise, we were very happy with the staff and the room. It was very quiet, the room was large with a comfortable bed, and the pool and public spaces were very clean."
