"Hello! I think it would be great if at check-in you can enquire from the guest if they need a guide and driver for Angkor Wat.
You would know which guests are not part of a group tour. Hence, you could advice the guests about guides and driver"

"We have never had service so good in all the years we have been travelling."
Mr. Garrick Z. - New Zealand on 01/09/2009
"The whole hotel is great, especially the room we've chosen, a suite, since 3 pax staying. We were warmly welcome and a lady attended to our check-in. She was very polite and helpful to our enquiries though she's just a trainee at the hotel.

Since we arrived very early at 8am+, we understand that we can't get to our room yet and were told is available to us at 12pm.

After a long, hot walk at the town for so many hours, When We go back to the counter at 12pm, the staff said will check for us and were told to sit around and they will comw to us in a while with reply. However, 15mins passed and still nobody came, though we were just sitting on the sofa right in front of the counter. Therefore I went back to the counter, again, they checked for a while and confirmed that the room is ready!
What have they been doing for the past 15mins??

Other then that, we can say that we had a nice stay at the hotel!"
Ms. kwek peck k. - Singapore on 03/08/2009

Mr. Chin Leong T. - Malaysia on 31/05/2008
"Many thanks to this website. All info are accurate & update.

Every staff in Prince D'Angkor are friendly & accommodating. Also most Khmer people can smile honestly, like genuine from their heart. We had travel to Vietnam, Thailand, Mynamar, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia & Brunei, but only could find this original asian smile here in Angkor. The rest has commercial or political reason, even just to smile !!

Please continue this great job : Dayvy, Kristin & Thomas, all the best for you. And for all Khmerist, please keep all good culture & forget wounded past, may Cambodia will be great nation one day. "
Mrs. Kiranalakshmi F. - Indonesia on 29/03/2008

"Hotel was fine, although the communication from WHL to the hotel seemed to be severely lacking. Hotel facilities were reasonable, service was reasonable. Nothing fantastic, but satisfactory."

dirt in pillow
dead mosquisto on the bed"
Ms. Chui Yi L. - Hong Kong on 10/05/2007
"We had a junior suite, room 505. For our whole stay we never had any hot water in the shower or the sink/basin. That would have been nice.
Also, we needed a iron and ironing board from the hotel when we checked in, and we told that no one had access to the housekeeper room to get an iron for us at 8pm. I do understand that housekeeping had gone home, but someone at the front desk staff should have had a key to be able to get us those items. In the end, we got a very old iron the next day, without any ironing board.
Otherwise the staff at the hotel were very nice."
Mr. Jeffrey L. - Canada on 03/05/2007
"we were a little surprised at the smallness of the Junior suite. The staff were great."
Mr. Ron B. - Australia on 02/04/2007
"The fitness facility needs to be air-conditioned! It's too hot to work out!"
Mrs. Jean M. - Singapore on 02/04/2007
"Although we had advised our flight details we were not picked up on arrival and had to explain the position to get a transport to take us back to the airport.
Save those, we had a not too unpleasant a stay i n Prince D'Angkor"
Mr. Ramasubban B. - Laos on 16/03/2007
"Did not take American express card,Had to obtain cash to settle bill .This should be available as it,s a very common means of payment ."
Mr. David Rees E. - Thailand on 06/02/2007
"Defiantly exceeded our expectations! Was a stunning hotel in a prime location, Beautiful gardens and swimming pools, and very friendly, professional staff. The guest room was immaculate. Strongly recommended!"
Mr. Mahesh A. - Australia on 03/02/2007
"Staff very friendly, but English language skills and efficiency could still improve."
Ms. Ballmer F. - Philippines on 22/01/2007
"All in all we were happy. However, we had to wait till 2 pm. to get to our rooms because the clean up took longer than expected."
Mr. Frank T. on 15/01/2007
"This hotel is well located and has nice facilities, decent breakfast, pool is very nice although it mostly loses the sun just after lunchtime, ok gym and the rooms are decent. All rooms seem to be the same, deluxe just gets a pool view at the back instead of overlooking the uninspiring entrance and road. However -- the staff are really useless, speak very little English and just don't seem interested in providing anything close to good service. A 5 year old could do a better job. I arrived and they had "lost" my reservation, they then checked me into a lower class room than I had booked and paid for and tried to fob me off by telling me that the room they had given me was a "deluxe" - which is wasn't. They also failed to arrange a taxi for me to get to the airport despite me asking them 3 times. I overheard another lady complaining that for 3 days they had failed to set her wakeup call meaning she had missed the sunrise over Ankor every day. So overall decent hotel let down by poor staff - maybe their claim to be using orphans off the street explains it but they need some staff who give a damn and can speak basic english. Stay here for the location and facilities but don't expect any service or help if something isn't right, i'm sure there's better places at this price in town."
Mr. IAN W. - United Kingdom on 20/12/2006
"There was no room service menu or dinner menu - We would have used more if we didnt have to guess what was avaliable!

Also the same with the DVD list - print one out!

I felt as an independant booker I would have spent more money had you told me how to spend it - ie provide tours of the Wat's.

You have an excellent hotel and we did enjoy our stay very much, many thanks,

Jon Watson
