"To do about the environment: They had little signs one could put on the bed, in order not to get the bed linnen changed. That was a great idea. "

Traveller Comments:
"Nice clean hotel, good service . WOuld like the beds to be a little bit softer. That is my only complaint"
Mr. Peter G. - Australia on 26/03/2010
"Need more effort to control mosquito is room and public area (internet station)."
Mr. HARTONO T. - Indonesia on 24/02/2010
"No hot water in bathroom hand basin."
Mr. John B. - United Kingdom on 09/02/2010
"Rooms were spacious, clean and well-decorated.
My husband found that the mattress was not as supportive as it could have been for his 6ft.4 frame. In fact, it was a wicker-framed bed which was not very solid. When he turned over in the night, it woke me up, so neither of us slept particularly well.
This would be our only negative remark about the accomodation.
We appreciated the availability of the interconnecting room for our children."
Mr. Beatrice A. on 29/10/2009
"I believe it's the "best value for money" hotel in the area. Rooms are clean and spacious and leads to a welcoming swimming pool. The staff are friendly and helpful."
Mr. Benny T. - Singapore on 02/09/2009
"Great room & garden with pool & animation and very friendly service. Good breakfast. Very relax. Only minus: in order to pay with credit card the hotel charged 2,5%. This was not mentioned on the website, even though we booked with... credit card."
Mr. Koenraad Du P. - Belgium on 20/08/2009
"Do Not Disturb sign was not respected. Staffs came into my room twice within 10 mins even though I turned on DND light. I found out later the light was not working. Reported to reception and asked them to fix in the next day but no one followed. Asked for wake up call from the reception and no one call me up either. Spoken English of the staffs should be improved as a 4-star hotel. I found difficulty in letting them understand my request. I stayed in the guest house in Phnom Penh and they spoke much better English. Overall, it is valued for money."
Mr. Wai Lok C. - Hong Kong on 21/07/2009
"If free internet access, may be for half an hour, be extended to the guests it would be great"
Ms. Nirmal H. on 14/06/2009
"Very nice and calm place. We really enjoyed the room with the terrace and the pool."
Mrs. Despert I. - France on 02/04/2009
"Bed sheet not being change daily and restroom not being clean properly."
Mr. Kok Keng Anthony C. - Singapore on 24/02/2009
"We (family of 5 kids are 10,7,7)had a great time in Siem Reap. The hotel is close to the city and walking into town after a big day at the temples was still ok. The layout of the hotel with the pool at the centre is great. The pool was a lifesaver for the children. Everyone loved Breakfast, the choice was huge and things for everyone. We didn't have dinner there, although we walked through the restaurant during dinner time and the food looked great.
There was a dinner dance, and always traditional music, which was nice.
We would stay there again.

"I spent three nights at the Day Inn Angkor Resort in a triple room with my two teenage kids.

We found the overall management of the place to be very friendly, helpful and professional.

They even helped us for our journey to Phnom Penh by organising a good hotel and a reliable pick-up point over there.

The hotel matched my expectations from the website. No disappointment. Excellent value for money.

Mr. Francois B. - France on 10/09/2008
"Day Inn Angkor Resort is a surprise to me and my husband to begin a wonderful experience in Siam Reap. It's location, gardening, facility and ammenity all make a very comfortable accomodation in Day Inn. Though small but a relax and enjoyable stay in it. We would like to come back again in near future."
Mrs. Haiping Z. - China on 05/09/2008
"The Resort is very nice and the staff is so kind. I recommend this location for your holiday in Siem!"
Ms. Benedetta T. - Italy on 02/09/2008
"This hotel is excellent value. It is right in town yet very quiet and green, upmarket but simple. Highly recommended on the deal we received."
Mr. Graeme C. - Australia on 28/07/2008
"We had a wonderful relaxing time in Siem Reap - cant wait to go back!"
Mrs. AMANDA W. - Australia on 27/09/2007
"* Close to airport & city markets including good eating places.
* Hotel menu had good variety at reasonable prices.
* Double room was spacious with nice views of pool & surrounding garden.
* Staff very helpful in organising tour guide & transport (tuk tuk) to temples and other places of interest. Again, reasonably priced."
Ms. Wendy H. - Australia on 10/09/2007
"We had booked 3 nights' stay at Day Inn through the internet which offered free transfers to/from the airport as part of the deal. Unfortunately, we have had to reconfirm the terms over and over again. with the front office of the hotel. In fact, we even had the hotel's receptionist push a phone right to my face to sort the matter out directly with the booking agent. The staff kept insisting that it was not their fault when all we wanted was to have the matter sorted out directly between the hotel and the booking agent - and that was after we provided a printout of the internet booking details.

The transfer to the airport was also delayed by a whole half-hour. Again the staff blamed us for booking our stay through the internet even though we had everything re-confirmed a day ahead. In fact, at the time of check out, the front desk confirmed that the pick-up would arrive by 4pm and when the pickup was delayed, they blamed the fact that our booking was not directly with the hotel. All the staff cared about was that they are not at fault and it is us, the customer, who is to be blamed for all the inefficiencies and bad service.

The service of the front desk staff at Day Inn"
Ms. Kathleen L. - Vietnam on 28/03/2007
"Good value - felt very luxurious but a bit cocooned from the cultural life of Siem Reap"
Ms. Katherine V. - Australia on 11/11/2006
"Super hotel. Very close to centre of Siem Reap.
Very clean. Staff were very polite and extremely pleasant"
Mr. Brendan D. - Ireland on 23/01/2006
