A blend of French and Khmer architecture, the Sofitel Royal Angkor was the first 5-star hotel in Siem Reap and is the closest to the Angkor Wat ruins. Set in tranquil, landscaped gardens, the deluxe resort has 214 comfortable and elegantly furnished rooms, 24 suites, a beautiful pool, a luxury spa, five restaurants and three bars. Among its restaurants are a Japanese teppanyaki bar, a pizzeria pub and a fine dining establishment offering French-Asian fusion cuisine. Its spa offers a good range of health treatments including massage.
The latest addition to it's features is the Phokeethra Country Club, a world class 18 hole golf course.
