This was my first time staying at a socailly conscious hotel. They provided a lot of opportunity to help out/contribute in the community.

Having been to Cambodia and Siem Reap previously I know how the standard of accommodation can vary and I did a lot of research before going again. I chose Soria Moria because it seemed to have all the western comforts while the local aspect had been included. I was not disappointed!
As a female staying on my own I also wanted to stay a place that I felt safe and comfortable and within walking distance of everything in town. Soria Moria certainly met all my expectations and more! I felt safe at the hotel and in the area and the hotel have their own tuk tuk drivers that you know you can trust.
I would recommend Soria Moria to everyone - couples, singles and families alike!

Everything about this place was really good. The rooms are big and very clean, the Roof Top Bar area has the nicest sunset view in town. I loved all my meals in their restaurant, especially $1 night Tapas.
The hotel also ave many really interesting tour options available, it really surprised me that you can do so much more then watching temples while visiting Siem Reap. Their village tour is highly recommended for anyone that want to experience how life in Cambodia is outside the tourist areas.
What really makes this place stand out is their staff. I have never stayed at a hotel that has so genuine friendly and caring staff. They truly seemed to enjoy working there.
