Set up by a group of young Norwegian hospitality students who wanted to make a difference, Earthwalkers aims to promote sustainable tourism development through various community schemes, and endeavors to involve its guests in the process. We offer a wealth of information and travel advice in order to make your stay enjoyable.

"Waren zum 2.mal dort. Das GH ist schlicht, sauber und ruhig. Mannschaft sehr nett und hilfsbereit. In der Dusche (Zimmer Nr.3) fiel beim ersten Benützen gleich der Brauskopf herunter. Für eine Zimmerbestellung ist die Benützung der hauseigenen WEB-Site ".no" nicht zu empfehlen, wir bekamen auch nach mehrmaligen Versuchen nie eine Antwort"

"The flooding happened while we were there - so they did a good job considering the circumstances. It would have been nice to get a board of wood to not have to walk through the sewage and the dorm was certainly not full or even occupied and they said it was and to save the trouble ended up staying in really expensive rooms. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. Hot water a bit iffy in some rooms. They charge extra for a lot of things too."

"You need to specify clearly to the tuktuk drivers, that the hotel provides at a daily charge, of where exactly you want to go. If you don't know your Angkor itinerary, then be sure to discuss with the driver first anyway.

They otherwise have this 'very-happily-lazy' tendency of not wanting to drive you anywhere except the Angkor main temple and that's it.."

"Earthwalkers is the truly backpackers home in Siem Reep. Henrik, Swedish who is presently running the place is totolly accessible. The guesthouse invites you to participate in all kinds of local volunteer activities. I gave blood to the Children's Hospital which is in urgent need due to increased cases of Dingy fever in Cambodia. They were able to book bus passage back to Bangkok for me which was cheaper than me trip coming the opposite way. I wholeheartedly recommend Earthwalkers as an extremely reasonable inn. The next lucky people to stay there will have a swimming pool finished by August they hope!!"

"Earthwalkers is a home away from home. I've stayed here many times before and always enjoy the friendly inclusive feel of the place. Because of the large number of people staying there who are working on various community projects around town, the converstaions you strike up are always very intersting ang insightful. Frankly, the experience is a unique one."
