Connecting communities and environment with Responsible Tourism
The Angkor Wat International Half Marathon is an international charity event that has been running since 1996 for the benefit of landmine victims and other pressing issues in Cambodian development.
Join in the fun - options are available for everyone
The event is held in front of Angkor Wat - one of the wonders of the world and offers fantastic views, historical temples and water falls. The courses go around the main area of Angkor ruins and is an opportunity not to be missed.
Race types include; 21 km International Half Marathon, 10 km Road Race, 5 km Fun Run, 3 km Family Course, 21 km Wheel Chair, 10 km Artificial Limbs.
Additionally, there is a 30 km bike race that will take you around the magnificent temple complex and an 80 km race that will take you around a second loop. Due to popular demand, the cycle race is introduced as an exciting new event where teams can rent cycles that later will be used as a pro-poor tourism initiatve which creates employment opportunities.
