Angkor - Siem Reap Local Events

Throughout the year Siem Reap and Cambodia hosts a variety of festivals and events steeped in culture and religious history, often combined with the locals' public holidays where the whole town can relax and enjoy themselves. The most notable are probably Khmer New Year, Bon Om Touk (the Cambodian Water Festival marking the reverse flow of the Tonle Sap River) and the Bonn Pchum Ben festival, but watch this space for other local Siem Reap events and activities.

Angkor Wat Bike Race and Rally

Saturday 4 December 2010, the annual Angkor Wat Bike Race and Rally will take participants along narrow roads, passing spectacular backdrops with ancient temples, jungles, elephants, monkeys, rice paddies and local villages.
